Meet the author

A father’s heart behind the story.

Jon Morgan is a dad of two young boys and a lifelong follower of Jesus. He created The Good News for Kids! after struggling to find a book that clearly explained the gospel and what it truly means to believe in Jesus.

He earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology and Christian Studies from Mississippi College, a background that helped shape his thoughtful approach to communicating big truths in ways children can understand.

As a dad, Jon understands both the joy and responsibility of helping children know who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him. Through The Good News for Kids!, he hopes to give families a clear, faithful, and hope-filled resource for sharing the gospel and pointing children toward a relationship with Christ.
